This Terms of Agreement (“Agreement”) outlines the terms under which 24hr Plumber (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides plumbing services to clients (“you” or “the customer”). By scheduling service, you agree to the following five key terms:
1. Clear Scope of Work
Before any work begins, you will receive a written or digital estimate outlining the services to be performed. We will only proceed once both parties have agreed on the scope. If unexpected issues arise that require additional work, we will provide a revised estimate and request approval before continuing.
2. Transparent Pricing & Payments
Our pricing is based on fair labor and material costs. We provide upfront estimates to avoid surprises. Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed. Larger jobs may require a deposit or milestone payments. Accepted payment methods include cash, credit/debit card, or check. Late payments may incur a service fee.
3. Emergency Services & Verbal Consent
For emergency calls, we may begin work with verbal or written consent to avoid further damage. You agree to pay for services rendered during emergency situations, even if full work scope is completed later. All emergency work is billed at emergency service rates.
4. Access, Conditions & Site Readiness
You agree to provide safe and unobstructed access to the work area, including shutting off water or gas lines if needed. We are not responsible for delays or damages caused by inaccessible work areas, poor site conditions, or lack of readiness. Please ensure pets and valuables are secured before we arrive.
5. Warranty & Legal Responsibility
We provide a 30-day limited labor warranty on all standard plumbing services. This does not cover issues caused by improper use, previous damage, or DIY repairs. Manufacturer warranties apply to parts where applicable. Any legal claims shall be governed by Missouri state law, with disputes handled in Jackson County courts.
